Question

I've turned on credit card payments and bank deposits. Yet when I try to invoice my USD customer, the card payments is set to OFF and will not turn on. Any ideas?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online is a great tool to have. It offers various features that can help make managing your business smoother. I would be happy to provide some information.

 

QuickBooks Payments is one of the many features that QuickBooks has to offer. However, you can only accept payments from Canada when using this feature. This is why you're unable to turn on Payments for your US customer.

To clarify, we are unable to collect payment from any US customers through the bank payments OR credit card payment options offered through QuickBooks Online invoice integrated payment collection system. Do you have recommend solutions for US customer payment collection? Are there any partner or integratable programs that can be used to facilitate payment collection from customers outside of Canada?

Thanks for joining in on this thread. I recommend taking a look at 3rd party apps that enable you to accept US payments. You could do this by simply clicking on the APP section on the bottom of the left navigation menu. Feel free to leave feedback by heading to the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks. I hope this helps!
