When working with a cloud software like QuickBooks Online, creating and sending invoices is an easy process. I'd be delighted to go over these options with you so that you can know the options for emailing invoices created in the program and make the best decision for you.

When you create and send an invoice in QuickBooks Online, it's done by default through our system. This is to simplify the process and help with invoice tracking in the software. I can appreciate how being able to send an invoice from your own email via QuickBooks would also be useful though as it would give your customers the confidence that they're working directly with you.

If you're using Gmail, you're in luck. QuickBooks Online currently has the option to set up and use your Gmail account with the program to send invoices to your customers. I've got a couple of useful articles here that you can review to see how it works and if it's the right fit for you.

Another option you can consider is a bit more on the manual process side of things as it involves downloading a PDF copy of the invoice created in QuickBooks, then attaching it to your email using the provider you'd like outside of the software. To access the downloadable PDF, just click Print or Preview at the bottom of an invoice, select that same option again, then choose the download option from the PDF preview window.
