Hi accentonsolution,

I know how handy the Receipts feature is when you're working with QuickBooks Self-Employed, whether you're working with the mobile app or the browser. I can go over this feature with you so that you know how to handle this sort of situation where you have a transaction already created and you're wanting to include the image with it.

When you've got an existing transaction in QuickBooks Self-Employed, the way to add a receipt image to go alongside it is to find the transaction, select it, and add the image as an attachment to the transaction. The Attach receipts to existing transactions in QuickBooks section of the following article walks you through how to do that: Record or attach expense receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed

I see you say you've already uploaded the image in addition to the existing transaction. To avoid duplicating the amount, I suggest deleting the uploaded photo by selecting it in the transactions and choosing Delete, then follow the steps to add the image as an attachment to the existing transaction.

I hope that helps!
