In Quickbooks online, I cannot receive a receivable with existing credit. Is there alternative way to do this? Thank you. Jay

It's vital you're able to receive a receivable with existing credit on your account and I'll be happy to give you a hand. QuickBooks Online makes it simple to handle credits and I'll share more info below so you can get back to doing what you love. 

To save yourself from the hassle of manually keeping track of your credits, you can set up your credits in a way where they automatically apply to your invoice. Here's how: 

1. Navigate to Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings.
2. Click on the Advanced tab.
3. Click on Edit ✎ in the Automation section.
4. Select Automatically apply credits.
5. Hit Save, then Done.

Tip: You can turn off this feature if you want to decide which open invoices you want to apply credit memos to.
