In the online quickbooks version can we get a numerical list of customer invoices?

Thanks for reaching out to us here, and Welcome to the Community!  In QuickBooks Online you are able to number your invoices so that you can keep track of them. Here are some steps to view your Invoice list.

Head over to the Sales tab, then select Invoices. This page allows you to view all your invoices that you have created in QuickBooks Online. It also give you the option to filter what you would like to see. whether it's overdue invoices, or paid invoices.
