Is it possible to set up a discount % by customer so I don't have to remember to adjust the invoice every time?

I've tried using pricing rules but the customer doesn't actually see their discount amount that way. I'd like to see if there's a way to have QB automatically put the (flat $ or %) discount on every invoice or estimate - so I don't make mistakes and forget to give our best customers their well-earned discount.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here, QuickBooks Online is a fantastic software that allows you to add discounts to your invoices. It's important to know how to set that up. I can share some information about discounts.

 

In QuickBooks Online there isn't an option to add a discount directly to your customers. However, you are able to set up discounts in your invoices. The option that QuickBooks gives for discounts, is to add a discount when you are creating an invoice. Here is how you can set up and add discounts to your invoices, sales receipt or estimates. I see how having the option to have the discounts automatically entered for your customers would be beneficial for you and your company. I recommend leaving feedback by navigating to the Gear icon and selecting Feedback. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new feature for QuickBooks.
