Hello mpplumbing1,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I love this question as it shows an attention to detail, whether you're hoping to include the attachment for your own bookkeeping or to include something to send to the customer. I'll gladly go over this with you and show you how you can add an attachment from your computer to an estimate in QuickBooks Online.

When you open up an estimate and scroll to the bottom of the transaction, you'll find the Attachments field. This field allows you to either drag and drop or search your computer for a file that you'd like to add. To search your folders, just click the field to bring up the finder window, then choose your file, and click Open.

The other great thing about this attachment is you can leave it for your own reference and your customer won't see it or you can check off the box beside the Attach to email option to send it to your customer alongside the invoice. This option creates additional files on the email for however many attachments you've included. For instance, if I send one email and attach one document, the customer will have an email with the estimate and then the document as a separate attachment in that same email.

Pretty easy, right? Give it a go and see if it meets your needs. Here are a couple of articles with more details about estimates and attachments.

Have a great rest of your day!
