Is there a way to silence the beeping noise the app makes when capturing the receipt photo?

The beeping sound you hear comes from your device. Depending on which phone you're using, I'd recommend reducing the notification volume through your notification/volume settings. I also suggest googling how you can reduce/turn off the notification volume on your phone.
