Hi Fonz,

Among other powerful features and tools, QuickBooks allows you to create professional invoices and the best part is you can edit the way they look. Editing your invoices allows to add your personal touch to invoices and this makes you stand out from the rest of the competition.

Based on what you've described, if you'd like the edit the content on your invoices, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Gear icon
  2. Select Custom Form Styles
  3. Select Edit on the right of the invoice template
  4. Click on the Content tab
  5. From the Content tab, you can drag and drop the Quantity/Rate headers so you can switch them or make necessary edits
  6. Select Done

It's important to note that these edits will appear on new invoices. If you're not seeing these changes on existing invoices, I recommend recreating the invoice. Here's a community article with more details on how to customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

That's it! You now know how to edit your invoice. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'll be one message away! :)
