Is there a way when entering an invoice to have a drop down box next to the amount so that I am able to break down the amount into 8 different properties?

Keeping your books organized by breaking down your invoices is great step to take and QuickBooks Online is here to make staying organized easy. I know having a drop down when creating an invoice would be a handy feature so let me go over this with you.

It sounds like you'd like a way to divide the amount your customer's owe you by property, or maybe even project if you're using QuickBooks Online's fantastic projects feature. There isn't a way to add a dropdown next to the amount field when creating an invoice, but I know that this feature would be beneficial to not only you, but other users. I encourage you to share this idea with our product development team by submitting feedback. You can do that by navigating to the Gear icon then select Feedback. 

A workaround might be to include the property breakdown in the Description or Message field. You also have the ability to include an attachment that will be sent to your customer, which can be a great way to include additional details or information.
