Is there any way to select multiple customers and edit their information at once? ex. billing addresses, tax codes, invoice delivery setting

It would be helpful to be able change the settings all at once instead of having to go into each account individually. esp when the billing address changes for an account that has many sub-customers and they all get billed to the same head office.

I know that organizing your accounting software in as few steps as possible makes the process of doing your books more streamlined. I'm glad you're using the feature in QuickBooks that allows you to set up sub-customers, to keep your customer list organized. Let me explain how you can edit the customer information in a more efficient way.

 

Since there isn't a feature for batch editing customer information, I would recommend opening a note or document on your desktop with the address you'll be updating. This way you can quickly copy and paste each section into the fields in the customer profile, rather than type each line out individually.

 

Since having the ability to batch edit customer details is a feature that would benefit you, I know that our product developers want to hear about it. Let them know what you want to see by submitting feedback. Navigate to the Gear icon, then click Feedback.
