Rogers Mastercard Credit card cannot be linked to the QBO online. I have tried unsuccessfully for several weeks. It does not even show in the dropdown. The software then prompts you to intimate to the back office for them to investigate and add to the list of credit card - which I did at least three time and yet after several weeks of wait, it is still the same.....Rogers Credit card cannot be added.

Has anyone had success or experience with this?

Hi there @SunnyH and thanks for being a member of the QuickBooks Community.

I know how easy it is to enter your transactions into QBO once you've connected your bank and credit cards. When your card isn't available from the list, it can mean much more work for you to enter the transactions manually. @Lourdes-Fernandez has provided you with some awesome guidance above, so please check out their reply. I'll expand on one of their points below.

When your institution isn't available, you can take advantage of the option to Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. One important thing to watch for when you do this is duplicate transactions. Since you haven't had this account connected previously, you likely won't run into this issue, but if you do it's important that you know how to handle them. If you come across duplicate transactions after uploading your .CSV file, you'll want to select the checkbox for all that apply, then hit Exclude. This moves them from the For review tab to the Excluded tab. If you want to categorize them at a later date or realize you've excluded one in error, simply navigate to the Excluded tab and choose to Undo the appropriate transaction. It's that easy!

Let me know if you have other questions or concerns. I'll give you a hand. Have a great week.

I understand the work the work arounds Rebecca.

However, before we start starting new set of process of each such 'unlinked accounts', I await answer to the following:

- Has my online request to include the Rogers Mastercard been received and is it being acted upon? I have sent request twice over the last several weeks and remain unsure if this has been received and is being acted upon.

- How does one come to the know when the automated linkage would be effective from? There should be some reasonably definitive timelines around which one should expect the auto linkages to be become effective.

I look forward to hearing back soon.

Thanks

Good morning SunnyH,

I hope your weekend is going well! I'm sorry to hear about your Rogers Mastercard is not being found on the list.

The first step we want to take is making a request to Intuit to get Rogers added. This may take some time though as ultimately it would be Rogers decision on whether they want to allow Intuit to be able to retrieve transactions for their customers. I can only imagine certain contracts need to be completed for such sensitive financial data to get pulled from Rogers data base to Intuits QuickBooks Online QBO Company files.

Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking

However, we can still make use of our Banking Tab through what's called a "Manual File Upload". Once we download a QBO or CSV file when we log into our Rogers Mastercard account we can import through:

Gear- Import Data - Select Bank Data

This will bring your transactions into the Banking Tab so we can still use the benefits of this area. Since we are dealing with a credit card, at times they do not have a CSV or QBO option for a download but only PDF. If this the case for you, one of my go to converters is a third party called Auto Entry.

Auto Entry converts PDF into CSV files easily so that you can import into QuickBooks Online.

I'll also forward an informative article in regards to manually uploading your transactions in QuickBooks Online.
