MFA doesn’t work for Scotiabank

While using the mobile app, multi factor authentication doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for at least 2 years. The bank in question is Scotiabank. The only way I can refresh transactions is using a browser on a PC, rendering the mobile app useless in my view .

I appreciate you reaching out to us here.  Welcome!  The QuickBooks Online mobile app is a dynamic way to complete your daily bookkeeping tasks, while on-the-go.  It's important that you're able to update your transactions effortlessly.  I'd be glad to help!

 

If you haven't done so already, I suggest refreshing the app, or uninstall and reinstall it, to ensure it's up to date.  In addition, I recommend logging into your bank's website to see if there are any notifications that may need your attention.   In addition, ensure the correct phone number is listed on your bank's website.  Please also try switching from wifi, to data, to see if it's recognized.
