My client list on QBO also includes my client's customers from the customer list. How do I remove customers from the client list? Did I add the customers incorrectly?

Hey JBrown1,

 

Keeping an organized client list is the best way to make sure you're always focused on the right thing. The client list in QuickBooks Online Accountant is designed to be a hub where you manage your various customers and clients. By default, this displays customers without a linked QuickBooks account alongside your other clients which are differentiated by a qb symbol. This can easily be filtered, and I can show you how to clean this list up. 

 

The system will initially display all clients, allowing you to easily keep track of everyone in the same place. This list is built with a focus on helping you generate income, so it's only a few easy steps to filter it based on your needs:

  1. From your QuickBooks Online Accountant firm select your Clients tab.
  2. Near the top-right of your clients list, select the drop-down menu displaying All Clients.
  3. Select QuickBooks Online to filter out the ones that only exist in your customer list.
