Hi there info-ottawahandy,

 

It's vital that you get paid for the services you provide your customers. QuickBooks Payments is a great tool able to let your customers pay directly from the invoice you've sent them. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with QuickBooks Payments.

 

For assistance with the Pay now button not being able to be used, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community for security purposes. They'll be able to verify your account in a secure setting in order to help you get back to receiving payments from your customers. You can reach them using these steps:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
