Question

My customer display name is not visible on forms in the app. Online version works fine. This is when creating an estimate or invoice only billing address will show.

Hi office107,

I love that you're making use of the QuickBooks Online mobile app alongside the browser on your computer. This is a great way to make sure you're always up to date with your bookkeeping, and I'm here to help with making sure the app is working correctly.

The mobile app offers a simplified look at your QuickBooks Online data, giving you easily accessible details on the go. Something like the customer's name is still a key part of working with transactions, and it should be visible when creating invoices and estimates in the app. When the mobile app doesn't seem to be working quite right and fields aren't showing when they should be, the best troubleshooting step to take is to uninstall and reinstall the app. This ensures that the app is up-to-date and gives it a full refresh so that when you log back in, things should be good to go.

If you're still having trouble, however, it'll help us to take a closer look at this issue with you. To do that, I recommend connecting with a member of our support team outside of the QuickBooks Community so that we can take a deep dive and make sure things are working as they should. Here's how to reach us.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
