I have GST and PST taxes as I'm in Canada but only the GST will show from Dubsado. I use the QuickBooks codes in dubsado so it is all linked correctly.

Hi karlyo,

Welcome to Community!  It's essential that your sales tax is accurately recorded when syncing from Dubsado to QuickBooks Online.  I'll be happy to provide the information you need so you're on track with your work.

In order to reach your goal successfully, you'll need to ensure you have the appropriate sales tax created in Dubsado to align with the associated tax in QuickBooks.  If you didn't import the tax codes when connecting QuickBooks to Dubsado, follow these steps:

1. From Settings, choose Integrations and then QuickBooks

2. Scroll to the QuickBooks Online tax code section

3. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to select all applicable tax codes that apply to your business

4. Go to Reporting and then Chart of Accounts to see that Dubsado has created matching codes imported from QuickBooks.

Note:  If you've been invoicing with Dubsado without QuickBooks connected, you may have already created the taxes.  Invoices that have them applied won't be able to sync with QuickBooks.  You'll need to re-name the taxes in Dubsado in order to set them apart from those created in QuickBooks.  You can do this by selecting the Gear beside the tax to re-name it.  If you require additional assistance, it's best to reach out to Dubsado support so they can work with you from their end and ensure your able to complete the integration with ease.

Please reach back out if you have any other questions.  We'd be glad to help!
