Open versus Used Retainers and the Retainer Transaction Report

Is there a way to run the report so that I only see retainers that have a balance /credit and not the list of ones that have been exhausted. It makes for a long report but I really only need the 10-20% that still have open retainers.

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online is designed to help you save time using the powerful features offered in the program. When using the reports module, you'll have the option to customize each report with the desired information.  I'd be happy to help so you're on track with your work!

 

When running reports there'll be options for what you see.  You can make any changes to the columns that are displayed by using the ▼ dropdown in Display columns by field and Show non-zero or active rows only.  Here's more information for customizing reports in QuickBooks Online.
