It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online Payments is a great way to allow your customers to pay directly from the invoice they receive.   I can understand your concern when this option isn't populating as expected.  I would be glad to assist!

 

To provide your customers with the 'Pay now' link, it's essential that the invoice settings are calibrated with the payments program.  If it's not set up correctly, the credit card box will not appear when creating an invoice.  Follow these steps to review your invoice setup;

 

1. Open your Settings ⚙, then select Account and Settings

2. Select Sales from the left menu

3. Navigate to the Online delivery section and click on the Edit 📝 

4. Under the Additional email options for invoices field, use the ▼ dropdown menu and select Online invoice

5. Hit Save, then Done

 

In addition, it's important to note that QuickBooks Online Payments only accepts Canadian payment methods.  When invoicing customers with foreign currency, the payment feature will not be available.
