Hi, i am wondering is there a way to add a PO number to an invoice I enter into QuickBooks desktop

Making sure that your transactions have the correct information on the form is important to any business owner. QuickBooks Desktop is a robust tool that is able to help you with your payables as well as your receivables. I can provide some assistance when it comes to this. 

 

In order to modify an invoice template, navigate to the Lists option in the taskbar, then click Templates. Click on the name of the invoice template you want to modify and it will open up the customization menu. In the Additional customization... section, you'll have the option to add a PO number as well as SO number. Once you've completed your changes, make sure to click OK to save.
