QB sending payment reminders for customers who already paid!!

Hi

My customer paid me two weeks ago and I already recorded his payment immediately and marked the invoice as paid however QB sent the customer a payment reminder for the invoice that he paid!! I am now worried that QB will continue to send to other customers reminders for invoices which are paid and their invoice was marked as paid already. Please advise
