QBO - Estimates/ Sales/ Purchase Orders - Insert Blank Line Break

Is there a feature to add a Blank Line Break between items?

It would be great to have a feature where we can add a blank line break between items to separate line items without having a tax code or quantities etc associated.  It makes a mess of our forms when sending to clients and vendors.

This would help keep our Estimates, Invoices and PO's cleaner and more clear and offer less room for oversights and mistakes from all parties.

See attached for our issue/ obsticle.

Hi there,

QuickBooks is a versatile program which simplifies the way you do your accounting. I know how beneficial it would be to have line breaks and I'll be happy to share more info on this.

At this time, there isn't a feature which allows you to add line breaks on your invoices.  I recommend sending this a feedback to our engineers. You can do this by clicking the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. New product ideas and improvements are largely based on the feedback we get from users like you.

A workaround I recommend using is adding blank rows on your line items when creating an invoice. You can separate your invoice line items according to the screenshot below:

When you print/preview your invoice, you'll see line breaks which makes your invoice easier to read. Give this a try and if you have questions, I recommend contacting our support team using this link. Otherwise, feel free to leave a comment below. I'll be on standby.
