Question

Re: Emailing Invoices. How do I change my company name in the invoice email to my DBA name? It shows my Corporation name but I would like to change it to my company name.

I have been able to change my invoice print template in the custom styles, but there doesn't seem to be a way to change the company name in the emails that are sent out from QBO to the client. 90% of my billing is from one DBA and the rest are amongst the other DBAs. None of the billing should be from my Corporate name.

Hello info505,

Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks offers the flexibility you need to customize your sales forms with ease. I'll be glad to share more info so you can get back to being the best at managing your business.

Based on what you've described, it sounds like the company name is appearing on the subject line of the invoice email. If so, you can change this by clicking the Gear icon > Account and Settings > navigate to the Sales tab > scroll down to Messages > from here, you can edit the subject line of your sales forms so it doesn't show the company name > makes sure to hit save and done once you've made the necessary edits.

Give this a try and let me know how you make out in the comments below. I'll be a message away in case you have other questions.
