Re: How do I add in a convenience fee for paying by credit card?

I am a QB registrant in Canada in the service industry.

We received a call from a QB rep suggesting we are not allowed to charge our clients a service fee or surcharge fee for visa/mastercard transactions, is this true?. We are confused with this as we know other vendors that do and with our larger projects the fee's would be far to expensive to carry so it should be an option for client should they be looking to acquire points.

Freshbooks for example offers a service fee auto adjustment to the balance should the client pay visa/mastercard this is very attractive. Why is this feature not available in QB?, we may change providers strictly based on this convenient feature.
