Sales Receipts

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the naming convention of Sales Receipts?  When I pdf the receipt for emailing it names the file "Cash_Sale_my company name etc.pdf".  My company is a not-for-profit and I use Sales Receipts as Donation Receipts.  The Cash_Sale file name on the receipt is problematic.

It's vital that all your transactions display the correct information for your customers. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help you create invoices and sales receipts to send to your clients all while having them entered into your books. I can point you in the right direction for assistance exporting sales receipts to pdf files.

 

For assistance with exporting pdf files for sales receipts, and to see if their name can be changed, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team. They'll be able to view the settings of your software with you through a screen share in a secure setting in order to make sure that all is set up to export the best way possible.
