Should the invoice CSV upload require two lines for a single invoice with a Product/Service and Description?

My invoices successfully upload except when I have both a Product/Service and a Description.

I love that you're taking advantage of the ability to import your invoices into QuickBooks Online. This is a fast and easy way to bring transactions into the program if you initially record your invoices elsewhere. Let me give you a few pointers to make sure that the import process goes smoothly.

 

It sounds like you've got this process figured out, except for a few instances where the Item Description seems to be throwing things off. The description shouldn't be causing any issues, as it's one of the fields that's included in the QBO Invoice template. If you navigate to the Gear icon and select Import, then Invoices, you'll be able to take a look at an example document, as well as a Preview of what's required. If you download the example you'll see exactly how your file should be formatted. 

 

When you import invoices with item descriptions, ensure that the item description column falls in the same position and has the same header as the one in the example file. There shouldn't be much more to it than that, but if you do run into further issues, checking out the import guide which can be found on the same page as I mentioned above, might be helpful.
