Somewhat new to Quickbooks online version. Somehow I posted a down payment on an invoice. How to remove this?

Welcome to the QuickBooks family. I'll be happy to assist with your invoice. With QuickBooks Online, you have access to a solid platform where you can record and edit your financial operations. If you wish to remove a deposit that was applied to an invoice, follow these steps:

  1. Select Sales from the left menu.
  2. Select the Invoices tab.
  3. Select the invoice you wish to edit.
  4. Delete the amount in the Deposit box.
  5. Select Save and send or Save and Close as needed.
