Hi electricmike,

 

Welcome to the Community. It's vital you're able to capture your receipts using QuickBooks. Rest assured, I'll be happy to help so you're on the right track. 

 

In order to troubleshoot this issue, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This is a good way to troubleshoot bugs that affect the app. By reinstalling it, this ensures you're on the latest version of the mobile app. You can visit these links to reinstall the QBO mobile app:

 

I recommend making sure your mobile phone settings allow for camera access so you can capture receipts using the app. Give this a try and feel free to keep me posted on how you make out. I'll be a message away.

Still no luck, reinstalled the app on my iPhone. The app has full camera permission and still no green box. I can still capture receipt manually but its not cropped.

Thanks for trying the above steps. For further assistance with these receipts, I would recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to provide further assistance to help with making sure the transactions are correctly entered as an attachment. You can reach them using these steps:

 

  • Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
