The snap receipt feature seizes up and continually says hold steady. Can't enter any receipts it's been happening for the last couple of weeks.

It’s important that all your transactions are entered correctly so that your books are balanced. QuickBooks Online is a tool that can help you track your sales and expenses so you can see the profit of your business. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with your receipts tab.

 

If you're having trouble with scanning receipts in the mobile app, the first step to try would be to delete the app from your mobile device and install it once more from the app store. This can help resolve issues like the one you're seeing. If the error persists, I recommend contacting the support team outside the Community. They'll be able to analyze your account with you in a secure location to see the cause of why this option isn't working. You can reach them with these steps:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
