Question

The system has been missing at least all of my October receipts/transactions. Please advise how to fix this.

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I love that you've been using QuickBooks Online to keep track of your business' receipts and transactions. There are some really great features that make these processes easier, such as using the bank feeds to automatically pull in your transactions, and using receipt capture to import bills and expenses. I'd like to help you get to the bottom of these missing transactions.

 

It's important to start by eliminating any possible browser issues. Images and files are stored in your browser's cache, as well is in the QuickBooks app. Clearing the cache helps to resolve a number of problems that you may experience while using QuickBooks Online. Please give the steps below a try:

 

 

If you're still not seeing the transactions you expect to see, navigate to the Banking or Transactions tab. Select the blue tile for the account that you're missing transactions for. Click the Update button in the upper right. If you have rules in place, they may have automatically categorized your transactions. You can look for your missing transactions in the Categorized or Excluded tabs. If you see them there, simply press Undo to bring them back to the For review tab so that you can correctly categorize them.
