Trouble closing an open sales order

I am having trouble closing some open sales orders from several years ago.

I open the sales order and mark as closed, but then when I try to save and close a message pops up and says you cannot use the selected account for this field but I don't know which field it is referring to.

QuickBooks is designed to make your work easier. I'd be glad to assist you with closing an open sales order. 

 

Normally, when you get an error message like that, the field is highlighted in red. Based on what you've described, it sounds like the account is you may need to change the account associated with the sales order. Have you tried that yet? 

 

If you have and you're still having issues, I recommend clearing cache and cookies on your browser.
