Question

We accept online payments and have this feature turned on but it only works when manually creating invoices. I have to turn it on when importing data to create invoices

I have to open each invoice that was created when uploading data to turn on the pay now feature.  I'm hoping there is either an easy solution for this or a feature that will be addressed by Quickbooks

From what you described, QuickBooks Payments is working as it is supposed to. It is automatically turned on for invoices that you create within QuickBooks. I can see how having the pay now feature on imported invoices would be beneficial for you and your company. I encourage you to leave feedback by heading the the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks.
