We are in the construction business. Progress invoicing makes sense. How do we add/delete line items from the original estimate after a progress invoice has been paid?

Hi there,

 

Progress invoicing lets you split an estimate into as many invoices as you need. I'm happy you're taking advantage of this feature and I'd be happy to share more info. 

 

Since QuickBooks is easy to navigate, deleting a line item on an estimate has never been easier. To do this, follow the steps below: 

  1. Find and open the estimate.
  2. On the estimate screen, select the line item you want to delete.
  3. Click the trash bin icon.

 

To add items to the estimate, follow these steps:

  1. Find and open the estimate.
  2. On the estimate screen, click on Add lines and add the items in question. 
  3. Click Save.
