We needed to change the invoice number for a few invoices and since then the invoice numbering is messy. Can you assist with numbering?

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online is a powerful program with the features you need to manage your business preferences.  Adding custom transaction numbers to your forms is set by default.  However, changes can be made as you see necessary.  I'd be glad to assist!

Since you've made some changes to previous invoices, you can reset the transaction numbers by entering the next number in sequence, in the Invoice No. field.  Invoices created moving forward, will follow the new starting number.  For additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us outside of Community.  Our Customer Care team will be able to work with you virtually and ensure you're able to accomplish your QuickBooks goals without delay!
