What is the size of the notes section for customers?

Thanks for clarifying that, Tina. The Notes section in the customer information field can contain up to 4000 characters.

No, it is in reference to the customer detail area in QBO.

    Why is this limited to only 4000 characters? Please expand this to at least 10K characters. This is especially frustrating considering how little data this takes up AND the fact these don't transfer between Quickbooks Desktop version OR Quickbooks Online!

      Not only does the note section need more characters but it needs to be bigger, both on the customer profile and vendor profile. It's a huge pain to have to try to scroll through a tiny little window. You should be able to click on it and have it pop open so you can see more info instead of having to scroll back up and down.
