Question

When a client is overpaying an invoice to include a tip, when I click on the ink, it says the URL page does not exist. What do I do?

I have tried contacting Quickbooks multiple times on this, but we have ruled out browser issues, cache, etc. I can't find an email address, and I don't have lots of time to be on the phone explaining this multiple times. I have devoted over 2 hours of my time on this matter.

Hello jeanettehwdyck,

Welcome to the Community. It's essential you're able to use the program without running into issues.  I'll be glad to steer you in the right direction with this.

It's good you've already reached out to our support team so you can carry out the basic troubleshooting such as  clearing cache and cookies. If this didn't work, I suggest invoicing your customer the an exact amount that'll match with the payment they're making. Are other payments coming through properly or those are having issues as well?  In case this issue persists, I encourage you to contact our support team so they can escalate this to our engineers. Here are our contact details:

  • Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > choose Contact Us > provide a brief summary > select Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
  • Social MediaFacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
  • Support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.

I'll be one message away in case you need further assistance.
