Question

When creating an invoice, I add a shipping address (different from billing), when I click preview it doesn’t show the ship to address on the invoice. (Only in APP)

Hi there,

Invoicing your customers is meant to be a quick and simple task in QuickBooks Online. If your customer has a different Shipping Address from their Billing Address, QBO allows you to enter a separate field when creating your invoice. I'd be happy to explain why you're only noticing this issue in the mobile app.

Entering a separate Shipping Address can only be done via the browser version of QuickBooks Online. This process is simple, and you can enable this custom field by opening the invoice and clicking the small Gear icon > Shipping

Since this is an additional custom field that you've added to the invoice creation screen, you'll only see this appearing in the browser version. I know how important it would be for you to have these capabilities in the app as well. At this time, the app for QBO has certain limitations, as the program is quite robust and requires a browser to perform certain functions.

I'd be happy to pass along your feedback about the app to the product development team for review. I think that it's essential for you to have the same invoicing options in the app as you do in the browser version. I'd suggest submitting this feedback on your end as well, by clicking the Gear icon > Feedback

In the meantime, I'd recommend creating certain invoices in the browser that's installed on your mobile device. This still allows you to access your account from anywhere with the full capabilities of the browser.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our tech support team.

Have a great day!
