Hi user1033solutions,

This is a great question, and I'm excited to see that you're interested in QuickBooks Online Payments. This is a fantastic option for simplifying the exchange of funds between you and your customers, and I'd be happy to shed more light on this feature for you.

When a customer pays by credit card using QuickBooks Online Payments, you'll be charged a per transaction fee of 2.9% + $0.25. There's no sales tax on top of that fee, so it's just that amount for each transaction. This is outlined both on our QuickBooks Online Payments page as well as in the Intuit Canada Merchant Agreement, so feel free to give those a read if you'd like to learn more about these fees.

For your reference, here's another useful page to keep on hand for working with QuickBooks Online Payments: Intuit Canada Payment Acceptable Use Policy

Those should cover the information to keep in mind when using this service, but if you have more questions or would like clarification about anything, don't hesitate to ask in a reply on this thread. I'm here to help however I can!
