Question

When I check the number of receipt images that I have to review the total changes randomly and sometimes by hundreds of items.

I am trying to track the number of items entered per hour so I can estimate costs for clients but I have no accurate way of getting the total number of receipts reviewed unless I manually count items in the audit log.

With a few more details about where exactly you're working in your books and what you're doing when the numbers change, I'm certain we can help you get back on track. I see you've also posted another post about working with the filtering options in the Receipts page and how the filter doesn't seem to stick once you've addressed a transaction even though the filter options still show, and I'm thinking this may be related. I have some troubleshooting steps you can try to work this out.

 

These steps address browser, app, cache, and Internet-based issues, such as temporary Internet files, that may impact how QuickBooks Online is operating. I recommend going through these one-by-one until you find one that resolves the situation.
