When I choose my invoice customer which is in USD as opposed to our home currency it turns off online payments - can't we be paid via quickbooks in different currencies?

It's nice to see you in Community.  Welcome!  The QuickBooks Online Payments feature is a great way for your client's to pay directly from their invoice, so you get paid faster.  I'd be happy to provide more information so you're on the right track!

At this time, payments are only permitted in Canadian funds.  You can review the acceptable use of payments here.  If you'd like to see other options moving forward, you can submit a suggestion to our Development Team.  Recommendations are greatly appreciated for future updates to enhance your overall experience with QuickBooks Online.
