Hi Telamon,

Welcome to QuickBooks Community!  When adjustments need to be made to your invoices after they've been converted from an estimate, it's important to note that both areas must be aligned.

Creating an invoice from an estimate, links them together.  When you need to make changes, you'll need to edit the estimate first,  then you can manually make the same changes to the invoice, or  delete it by going to the Sales tab, then Invoices.  Locate the invoice, then select Delete from the ▼ dropdown menu in the Action column. You can then create a new invoice from the updated estimate. Here's how to edit an estimate:

1. From the Sales tab, locate and select the Estimate to Edit it

2. Make any necessary changes in the appropriate fields

3. When finished, hit Save and close

4. You'll receive a prompt that says "The transaction you are editing is linked to others. Are you sure you want to modify it?". Select Yes to proceed.

5. Next, you'll locate and open the invoice and make sure to save your changes when complete.

Note; If the Estimate has been marked as Closed,  you can change the status to Pending or Accepted so that you'll be able to create an invoice.
