Question

When viewing the list of estimates pending, how can I enter a memo or job name when I have 10 estimates to the same company?

I can't find a way to add a memo, but in the estimates list the memo column shows up???

Welcome back to the Community. QuickBooks is a versatile program that helps you manage your business with peace of mind. I'll be glad to steer you in the right direction. 

 

The function you've described isn't available in QuickBooks. You'll have to manually enter a memo on each individual estimate. I can see the benefit of having this function and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers. You can send feedback by clicking on the Gear icon and looking for Feedback.

Okay I want to enter a memo on each estimate to the same client but there is nowhere to do it, that I can find!  Just wondering where to find that option.  I tried using Tags but that doesn't work.

At this time, you can add a message to your estimate under the section that says Message displayed on statement or Message displayed on estimate.You can also utilize the Attachments section if you'd like.
