Why can I not find my monthly invoice that I started last night and almost completed by 1:15 am this morning?

Just started using quick books last evening and not computer savvy , using a 2 week old chrome box computer , that could be the problem.

Hi there, 

 

I'm excited to hear you've just started using QuickBooks Online. I know how important it is to be able to create and save your invoices. I'll help shed some light on what may have happened. 

 

When you create an invoice in QuickBooks Online, it's important to save your progress manually by clicking Save and Close, or Save and New at the bottom right-hand side of the page. Unlike an automatic saving system, QuickBooks Online requires you to click Save in order to pick up where you left off. 

 

If you didn't save your invoice, you'll have to create it again from scratch. Here's more information about how to create an invoice in QuickBooks Online: Create an invoice.

 

You should also clear your cache and cookies often by following the steps here: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files? Doing this will help prevent loading errors and latency in your account. 

 

If you did save your invoice and you're unsure where to find it, check the Sales tab on the left navigation menu. Then, click Invoices. All of your past invoices will be listed there.
