Why can't I eliminate the preInvoice # on top left corner of Invoice

I'll help you sort this out. Just so we're on the same page, can you clarify what you mean by a pre-invoice number?

on the upper left corner of the Invoice template there is a time clock and preprinted Invoice no. 1485  I use my own invoice numbers and want to erase this from the template ...how?

The upper left corner of Invoice template displays Invoice no. 1485 - this is not in sequence with my numbers and I need to eliminate it from the template to avoid confusion.  ow do I accomplish this???
