Why can’t my client pay his invoice with credit card?

Pretty sure invoice was correctly created with option to receive payment ticked. This is first one since getting that set up with qb

Hi culliganwater-nb.

 

Having your customer pay you directly through QuickBooks is a great way to save time and effort. I'd be happy to help you receive your payment from your client.

 

If the invoice doesn't have the payment option showing I recommend making sure you have payments turned on and resend the invoice to your customer. You can make sure you have payments turned on by making sure the check box under Online payments on the invoice screen is checked.
