Why does a credit memo print showing the original value after I have applied the credit memo to an invoice. On screen shows as the credit is applied and shows as zero

My customer aging does not show an open credit note. Not sure how to send a copy to my customer that shows that the credit has been applied to an open invoice

It's important that all your transactions appear correctly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can see the profit of your business. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with transactions appearing on statements.

 

For assistance with credit memos appearing incorrectly on your statements, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view the statement and the transactions with you in a secure setting in order to help you have it appear correctly. You cna reach them using these methods:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
