To have the same message carry over from the Estimate to you Invoices try the steps down below:

  1. Select Gear Icon in the top right-hand corner of your product
  2. Select Custom Form Styles under the Your Company Column
  3. Select Edit on the Standard/Master template.
  4. Select Content Tab, Select the messaging field section on the right-hand side which will open edit functions on the left-hand side.
  5. In the Message To Customer On section, select “Invoices and other sales forms” from the drop-down menu, then enter your message in the message field section below.
  6. In the Message To Customer On section, select “Estimates” from the drop-down menu, then enter your message in the message field section below. (Should be the same as the message in step 5)
  7. Select the Green Done Icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
  8. Locate your Estimate, and select Edit to view the Estimate in full.
  9. Select Customize Icon in the bottom middle in the black bar area, and ensure you see a green checkmark next to Standard. Feel free to also make use of the Print and Preview to ensure the correct template is being used.
  10. Select the Save Icon, then select the Create Invoice in the top right-hand corner. Your message should now be the same as the Estimate. If it is not, select the Customize Icon to ensure the Standard has a green checkmark beside it.

*Message displayed on statement field will carry over no matter what template you use, Message displayed on the estimate will not but it will with the Standard/Master Template

I hope that helps! If you require further assistance with the steps, you can now request a callback right within your QuickBooks Online Product:
