Hi agi_dicastri

It's great to see that you're using QuickBooks Online for your business's invoicing needs. QuickBooks Online allows you to customize your invoices to fit your organization. I can help you add the service date to your invoices in a jiffy.

To add your service date on your invoices, follow these quick steps:

  1. Click +New from the upper left corner.
  2. Select Invoice.
  3. Once the invoice is open, hit the micro-Gear in the right corner.
  4. This opens the options for what you want as fields in your invoices. If you want the service date included check Date.
  5. Next click on Change what customer sees.
  6. This opens the Custom forms content. Choose the Content tab.
  7. Click the Pencil icon on the section that has the invoice columns in it.
  8. Again, check Date, so it'll appear on your customer's invoices.
  9. Hit Done.

You should now have the service date column added to both your QuickBooks Online invoices and the invoices that your customers see.

If you have any other questions, I'm here to help. Have an awesome weekend!
