Question

With the new receipts under Banking, does this mean I will no longer require Receipt Bank?

Hello,

Receipt Bank is a 3rd party app that you can connect with your QuickBooks Online account. It's great that you've been taking advantage of connecting apps to QuickBooks Online. While I can't speak directly to the capabilities and details of the Receipt Bank app, I can explain a bit more about the Receipts tab in QuickBooks Online so you can assess your needs moving forward.

The new Receipts tab is where you can manage and match your expense receipts all in one place. You can drag and drop receipts directly into QuickBooks Online, or select Browse to upload them. You can also use your email and the "QuickBooks Accounting: Invoicing and Expenses" app to upload receipts from your phone.

Once your receipts are in QuickBooks, they show up under For Review in the Receipts tab. From here you can select the row to have a side-by-side view of the receipt you sent and the data we extracted.

The Receipts feature helps you not only store your receipts in a digital way, but also saves you time with data entry by allowing the system to scan your receipts and create transactions for you. For more information about the Receipts feature, take a look at this article: Manage your receipts in the Receipts tab.

If you have any other questions about that, let me know.

Have a great day!
