10-99 issues and scam to "fix corrupt database".

Please help, 

Having issues actually getting in touch with Intuit support.  The number I have reached through Intuit is sending me to India with the common scam "you have corrupt files, but we can fix online for only $600 and 3 hours on your computer through team viewer".  

 

I have attempted to use the help "talk to a real person" and get a message that this service is unavailable.  

 

I filed 10-99s, but only 1/2 were actually filed.  When attempting to file additional 10-99s, there is no option to select the remaining vendors which has led to my attempts to get help through Intuit.  

 

Does anyone have an actual phone number or way to contact Intuit for assistance with this?

    @grsusbc  When you say 'The number I have reached through Intuit--', how exactly did you reach said number?

     

    At any rate, their phone numbers can be a bit difficult to navigate. Nobody can list one here either; phone numbers and e-mail addresses are quickly scrubbed from posts, sometimes even that of QB employees.

     

    Unless you want to try to get transferred to where you need to go from the Sales phone number they list above, the Contact Us function in QB is pretty much all you have to work with.

     

    All that being said, how did you pay the remaining vendors in question? If they are set up the same way as the half that did get filed, it may be a simple case of the missing 1099 vendors not getting paid in a way that can go on a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC.

    I understand the need to contact our support about your concerns with your 1099 filings. The best way to contact our support is through QB Assistant and I'm here to guide you how.

     

    I recommend heading through the QB Assistant in contacting our support and avoid calling numbers provided by other users to keep your account safe. Here's how:

     

    1. Login to your QuickBooks Online account.
    2. On the top-right part of the page, click the Help button.A picture of a computer terminal with a message in the background.
    3. In the QB Assistant, click Contact Us to be added to the queue. If you're not seeing the Contact Us button, go to the Search tab and search for Contact Us. You'll then you'll see the Contact Us option.

    Furthermore, you can consider modifying your chart of accounts for your 1099-MSIC and 1099-NEC filing through QuickBooks Online.
